it is delightful, seductive and mysterious to get lost in the alleys of Naoussa. It is a charming small fishing village, with many caiques and fishing
boats and sailors taking care of their catch. The tables in the taverns are filled with delicious dishes. Also elegant art galleries and chic shops.
You will see the remains of a Venetian castle in the harbor and a folklore
museum to visit.
Until night falls, when cafes and bars come alive with music
and singing until morning.
Your visit to Naoussa can be combined with swimming in two very nice
beaches located within walking distance from Naoussa. They are kolibithres and santa maria.
Just opposite the bay of Naoussa with your nice car you can find yourself swimming in one of the best beaches of Paros. is located beach of Paros Kolimbithres. It is a series of sandy coves, but the area is best known for its smooth granite rock formations. Carved into incredible shapes by wind and sea, they wouldn't look out of place in a contemporary art gallery.
NAOYSSA Santa Maria beach. The
white-sanded shores and green waters of Santa Maria beach are heavenly. It is
one of the most famous beaches in Paros, for good reason. Mikri Santa Maria is
a smaller adjacent beach, with 2e neat little tavernas. If you fancy your
privacy, head for the smaller one. The bigger one attracts more people and is
home to several water sports schools, allowing you to spend a carefree day
diving or kite- or wind-surfing, if that’s your thing. And if you fancy
partying, there’s 2 dance music in the beach bars. Meanwhile, nearby Lageri beach
is another fine option if you want to get away from the crowds (it’s also
nudist-friendly) but come prepared as there are no facilities. Take your pick.

After Naoussa, traveling west, we suggest you spend your day on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches, Golden Beach, with many cafes and restaurants. Look for MARABOU café to enjoy amazing cocktails, listen to amazing music, enjoy the crystal clear waters and do any water sport you wish. Many fish taverns, restaurants and cafes are waiting to offer you fresh fish but also local flavors and amazing but very cheap local wines
The town and port of Paros are among the best spots of the Cyclades: whitewashed houses with colorful doors and balconies, cobbled streets and the aroma of jasmine. After being greeted by the windmill at the port, you will be seduced by the Cycladic architecture, especially in the Castle area. Look for the church of Panagia Ekatontapiliani (one hundred doors) and the Archaeological Museum. Take a tour and get lost for a while in the amazing alleys, enjoy your coffee in the excellent cafes.
